Tarte Amazonian clay 12-hour blush: Swatches & Review

PURCHASED / AFFILIATE LINKS
Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hour Blush in Glisten, Blissful & Tipsy
When these first came out I did cringe at the price tag of $33CAN for a plush is pretty extravagant. But I finally bit the bullet and got Blissful as an every day blush.

These Tarte Amazonian clay 12-hour blushes retails for $26US and $34CAN

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hour Blush in Glisten, Blissful & Tipsy
Product: Silky is the best way to describe both formula's matte and shimmer. There just something  about the way they can blend into your skin and foundation.

Colour: The colours apply pretty spot on from the pans to the skin. of course the colour will shift lightly base on your skin tone simple because blush is never applied opaquely.

Wear: 8 hour wears wear for me before noticeable fading. I also found I could buff the colour in more to stain my foundation as well make it last a full day also the shimmer finish would fade by 7 hours.

Packaging: Just in general I have to say these are cool. compact size with a mirror and magnetic pop out pan so you can depot the product for travel or a custom blush palettes. The are sturdily made and each blush has a matching tone in the plastic case down to the finish (shimmer have shimmer flecks in them Glisten has gold fleck in a blue based pink plastic). But because these are magnetic there is a chance of the product shattering in transit if they get beat up which happened to my first Tipsy.

Compare: It's hard to compare because these blushes in texture are almost buttery to the touch which changes the dynamics of what a blush should feel like. The shade Glisten of course is another NARS Orgasm dupe but I find it registers on my skin so much more prominently rather then but some dewiness on the skin in terms of colour.

Daylight Swatch: Glisten, Blissful & Tipsy
Flash Swatch: Glisten, Blissful & Tipsy
Verdict
Even at the $25US price tag I think you have to be made about blush to collect them all but the range of shade means there is indeed something for everyone. Currently there is a Friend and Family sale going on the parent site for the US only if you want to take advantage of it till the 6th of August.
