L'Oreal Colour Caresse by Colour Riche: Swatches & Review

PURCHASED

172 Blushing Sequin & 178 Cardinal Plume
L'Oreal Colour Caresse by Colour Riche shades are out. I picked up 172 Blushing Sequin 178 Cardinal Plume $11.99 CAN a Zerhs. They retail usually for $12.99 to $14.999 CAN as most drug stores in Canada. The thing I didn't like about this product up from was the adverting as the model seem to have the product layered on thickly to almost opaque coverage. These are Lovely sheer and I don't recommend piling them on. lol

Product:  Sheer lip colour that is smooth to apply an feel comfortable on the lips.

Colour: Excellent vibrant collection, the lightest one still have nice colour payoff in the store.

Wear: They stay for about 6 hours which with a semi gloss finish on the lips for 3 of the hours. The colour payoff does last. The feel of them on the lips is barely there, it doesn't moisturises the lip but it also doesn't dry them out either. every once in awhile i pressed my lips together to  see if the product was still then and you tend to feel a slight balmy feel.

Packaging: Packaging is identical to the Colour Riche Balm, fairly sturdy.

Compare: Revlon colorburst lip butters are a fair comparison to these are the darker shade also handle similarly. But I did find these two shade lasted longer on the lips. This are also a nice dupe for the YLS VOLUPTÉ SHEER CANDY - Glossy Balm Crystal Color. Even down to the thin product tube packing at $38CAN for 0.14 oz however the Colour Caresse all don't have shimmer in them.

Daylight Swatch: 172 Blushing Sequin & 178 Cardinal Plume

Flash Swatch: 172 Blushing Sequin & 178 Cardinal Plume

Flash Swatch: 172 Blushing Sequin
Daylight Swatch: 178 Cardinal Plume

Verdict: Definitely a keeper!

With a longer wear time considering the nature of the product and a true lip tint rather then paint finish these I would recommend to just about anyone to try out a shade first.
