Illamasqua Skin Base Foundation in 01 & 03. Retails for $42US or $51CAN at Sephora but * ordered these from the Illamasqua site to get 03 shade at £27 as Sephora does not carry their two lightest shades 02 (fair pink) and 03 (fair yellow) and now they don't even carry the White 01 anymore. >__>

Illamasqua Skin Base Foundation in 01 & 03

Product: Semi-matte build-able coverage liquid foundation. It's almost concealer like but still lighter in texture then a concealer. It leaves a dewy finish to the skin if you don't set it with a powder but also sets on it's own.

I've been using this foundation for 2 years now. ;)

Colour:
01 pure white is a pure white
03 fair yellow is a fair warm foundation that does lean a touch more orange than yellow.
The shade 03 also look alright but it not a complete match for me. At the time I could not swatch in store to confirm this shade. 4.5 is actually light and less orange the 03 and is a better match for those with fair yellow or olive undertones. ;)

Wear: I got 18 hours in one day during the humidity without fading. It's stick really well.

Packaging: A simple squeeze tube packaging.

Compare: This is a denser foundation formula then FACEatelier Ultra Foundation. But the FACEatelier Ultra Foundation is slightly more skin like in finish (I honestly still have yet to try a foundation like it that looks like your skin when your done. ;) ).

The MAC Pro Longwear Concealer also has a similar formula but the coverage is not a strong.

Flash: mix of 03 blended into 01 on right side of my face. Have a bad flush day for my face was redder then usual. look at how much was covered!

Coverage was good. It took out my redness, unevenness and any blemishes I had. My freckles are also GONE on my right side as well.

Verdict:
Love it! It has the coverage I'm looking for in a Liquid form and has a built-in primer for longevity. Also, has a 2-year shelf life unless something goes awry.

I know this is an expensive foundation but if you need to coverage I have not found anything like this yet with a natural texture.
