Smashbox Master Class Palette III – Color & Contour: Swatches & Review

Smashbox Master Class Palette III – Color & Contour

The Smashbox Master Class Palette III – Color & Contour retails for $65US and $72CAN at Sephora. I was impressed enough with the tester in store to pick this up. I'm trying to buy less Limited Edition palette as I want start tutorial with more permanent items but THIS palette I feel like Smashbox should make permanent because it really have everything you need for the eyes and face!

Bonus is they have improved on the packaging from the original Master Class Palette and Master Class Palette II.

Packaging
I'm going to gush a bit here. ;)

The palette is house in a old school sketch book style case with shimmer outer case with an elastic to keep the container shut. (Oh the memories of my no line sketch books comes to mind.)

The inside jacket comes with clear pouched to house look charts and face charts for use.

The inside trays have plastic hinges than can be pooped out for use. They trays also come with a clear plastic cover that can be folded back to stand up on it's own. (They actually remind me of the evil pms color chip chart I had to put together for my Graphic Deign schooling. Except I can touch these trays!)

It is a touch heavy but it's loaded with product as well.

Verdict:
Lovely! I know this is limited addition but the packaging has so much potential I love to see Smashbox put out  permanent version of this kit. The only disappoint shade really was Blacktop, if they replace that with a yellow your pretty much covered more most looks.

I actually think this is a steal for the amount of product and shades that it cover. ;)

  1. I really like Smashbox and I feel like they largely get overlooked. This is super tempting- like I'd love to have it in my car for travel.
