Benefit They're Real! Push-Up Liner
Benefit They're Real! Push-Up Liner normally retails for $24US to $29 CAN, I got this stubby version form a code through Sephora online. But I checked out the full size in store first to see if the packaging was identical. It was just the body length is shorter. ;)

Product & Colour
This is a dry matte black gel formula. It's very richly pigment and budge proof formula.

The formula I found a touch too dry to get a really thin clean line out of this product. I found it would skip along the lash line next you your lashes for this reason as well. I also found less is more when working with it. One click at a time in terms of the amount of product on the chisel tip is best.

The product like with most click up pens take a bit of twisting to get going as well. If you also want I wing I recommend stamping then drawing your line into the eye rather then drawing your outwards from the eye works best.

Wear
All three lasted a full 16 hours with little fading on it own, on the lid and skin.

Packaging
This is a twist up pen style container with a rubber chisel tip is unique to North American market. The has a small flat well in the rubber chisel to allow the product up. The cap is also a twist on type as well.

Verdict
I think people will love this if you like a thicker and more dramatic liner. But if you want a thin line this it's a no go.

  1. I got a deluxe sample of this in my TopBox and I find it quite challenging to draw a thin line. Either too much product or too little and even though I'm impressed with the pigmentation and staying power, I wouldn't get it in full size.

    1. That was my feeling as well. I knew the code was up the day before I visited Sephora store and the tester seem good formula wise but I wanted to tested out on the lid. Yeah TOO dry to get anywhere with it except for block out liner.
