Illamasqua Lipstick in Fable, Plunge, Over, Corrupt, and Test: Swatches & Review

Illamasqua Lipstick in Fable, Plunge, Over, Corrupt, and Test (The palette has solids sweating to the top which happens with cream products)
The lipstick palette retails for  £34.00 for 4 x 1g / 0.04 OZ price per 10g but it on sale  during the summer to place an order. These shade are permanent and retail for £18.50/$30CAN.

Also some sad new as Illamasqua is no longer at Sephora!!! I'm so pissed about this because this is my foundation brand I keep going back to out of all of them and it was kind of nice not to have to order a big order to get free shipping from the UK as their standard shipping cost around $35CAN.

There a smooth finish and richly pigmented formula. I did experience  some gather in the lip folds but there not as noticeable with the opacity of the shades except for Over. the lipstick also don't dry out you lips I found.

I also used some of these (Plunge, Over, Corrupt) as a creme blush because the pigmentation was there. ;) There really nice for that as well because Illamasqua knows how to do creme pigments.

Fable is a pale light warm pink with a creme finish.

Plunge is a pale light blue based pink with a creme finish.

Over is a pale warm coral pink with a creme finish.

Corrupt is a vivid hot pink with a creme finish.

Test is a warm orange brown with a creme finish.

Wear: About 5-6 hours on there own before noticing fading. Over did fad a bit fast at 4+ mark.

Packaging: Compact palette with a mirror and a basic lipstick

I do like the pigmentation and they do wear well on there own but their not dry enough to be consider long wearing though but you might not want that in a formula.

You can still order the palette now during their summer clearance online!

  1. Plunge seems to really set into the lip lines. :/ Corrupt is really nice, though!

    1. Pastels a tricky to get though I find. They tend to need more pigmentation and get a touch heavy on application. It not so bad look at normal size but close up like this your can really see it.
