Dare to Compare ~ Eve Pearl Dual Salmon Concealer in Light / Medium, Pixi Correction Concentrate - Brightening Peach, & NYX Dark Circle Concealer in Fair : Swatches & Review

Eve Pearl Dual Salmon Concealer in Light / Medium, Pixi Correction Concentrate - Brightening Peach, & NYX Dark Circle Concealer in Fair
Retails for $38US on the Eve Pearl site. This is my second purchase of this concealer from the brand and been using it for 3 years now. This mixture was slightly overheated when they poured the product causing some of the solids to crystallise and float to the surface when it cooled before I used it. This happens with a lot of cream products though.

This retails for $15US and $15CAN at Target when we had Target... I've been using this product for 2 years now and has been a go to really correct my circles and no foundation days. You can now purchase the line at Shoppers Drug Mart in Canada!

The NYX Dark Circle Concealer retails for $6US and $8CAN is one I've had for over a year. This shade blends into my skin tone very naturally.

Product:
A smooth skin mimicking texture is what the whole Eve Pearl cream product line is about. The pigmentation on this one means a little goes a long way. For me, I have to blend it out with a flesh tone concealer or foundation as the shade don't work with my fair skin tone on its own. But it does erase the blue tones under my eyes. This one stay very emollient on the skin for the long hall. It can and will crease quicker without a primer or setting powder

Pixi Correction Concentrate is a gel based cream that can set on the skin but I find does need a setting powder as well so that it doesn't crease right away. T found without a primer it can start to look dry under the eyes on the skin but behaves beautifully with a primer and setting powder.

NYX Dark Circle Concealer is a cream based concealer with wax extract to allow it to last longer on the skin. But it also needs to be set with a powder. This cream being on the waxier side can look a big dried out if you don't use a primer after 5 hours on its own.

Colour:
Eve Pearl Dual Salmon Concealer in Light / Medium
Salmon shade 1 is a bisque but bit more on the orange side.
Salmon shade 2 is peach in the pot, looks more orange on the skin.

Pixi Correction Concentrate in Brightening Peach is a bright pink peach colour that really neutralizes my blue circles.

NYX Dark Circle Concealer in Fair is a pale bisque peach that brightens my skin and dark circles.

Wear: For the  Eve Pearl Dual Salmon Concealer in Light / Medium and Pixi Correction Concentrate - Brightening Peach, I get close to 8 hours wear without a powder to set it or a primer before seeing any sort of fading.

For the NYX Dark Circle Concealer, I get close to 6-7 hours wear without a powder to set it or a primer before seeing any sort of fading.

Although these I find can wear a full 16 hour day, but they all crease in my natural fold lines of my lower lids. But they cam be patted out with a finger to correct for this without lifting too much product off.

Packaging:
Eve Pearl Dual Salmon Concealer mirrored compact that is sturdy. Pixi Correction Concentrate has a simple glass jar. And the NYX Dark Circle Concealer has a simple plastic jar.

Concealer blended on where my dark circles on the left undereye and the right is bare skin to show how blue my circles are. These shades blend into my skin to SO WELL!

WINNER
Can I say all of them? I feel like depending on your skin type either is dry or oily you're going to pick one that more emollient for dry and/or textured skin or the drier one for oily skin.

So I still feel like the Eve Pearl Dual Salmon Concealer is the most forgiving for skin texture issues, Pixi Correction Concentrate for creasing issues and NYX Dark Circle Concealer work somewhere in the middle of these two.
