The Wet N Wild Perfect Pout Gel Lip Balm in Tease is a smooth gel like formula lip balm that stays in place despite the slip this formula has. Now claiming this is the first gel lip balm might be too much to say, it doesn't look like as gel on the lip but has a gel texture while applying. The glossy look fades after an hour but still feel hydrated.

The thing I'm questioning is why so many ingredients? Should the base balm formula be more simple with some healthy lips ingredients? Or is this the new look of gel lip products.

This is also reminiscent of the Revlon Lip Butters in both haveing a tint of colour on the lips while being lightly hydrating. But I also am always reapplying through the day as well in the same way.

Wear: Was close to 1-2 hours wear time before needing to reapply. This is typical of most balms behave for me.

Verdict
The Wet N Wild Perfect Pout Gel Lip Balm is a nice daily wear balm but it's not as hydrating as a lip mask, so I still need something more while lip swatching and over night to heal my lips. But I have to say the colour tint is nice and it does work, but it's worth it to get a more hydrating lip balm to do the job for you.
