Products:
The texture on the Ciate London Mermaid Glow buttery with even micro shimmer when applied to the skin. The formula also does a nice job of applying evenly but you can still defuse the shades on the skin without going patchy. The finish comes off dewier on the skin than blinding bright compared to other highlighter and reminds me of a power version of the Dewy Stix - Luminous Highlighting Balm in their clear shade without the greasy texture on the skin and will work over all foundation type by comparison.
With how the pan is split you can get a lighter shade from the top green/yellow stripes versus just using the pink/purple side which gives you a more pale pink tone from this powder if you wanted to. This shade doesn't look as stark white as you blend it out but gives a subtle glow to the skin that looks wetter.

Stripe 2 is a light mint with a shimmer finish.
Stripe 3 is a light yellow with a shimmer finish.
Stripe 4 is a pale warm pink with a shimmer finish.
Stripe 5 is a light cool pink with a shimmer finish.
Stripe 6 is a pale lavender with a shimmer finish.
Mixed together is a pale mauve pink/white highlighter.

Wear: On the cheeks, the Ciate London Mermaid Glow in Rainbow lasts 10 hours before noticing any fading of the finish.
Packaging:
The compact is barely blushed silver body with a cream with silver and gold stars base with the Ciate London Logo and clear slight domed overlay acrylic with white stars and a ribbon printed on it. It has a full mirror in the lid.

The BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Pearl is a true white metallic highlighter with a high shine on the skin compared to the Ciate London Mermaid Glow in Rainbow which is cooler and more subtle.
I have to say I'm loving this Ciate London Mermaid Glow in Rainbow because of it like the GUERLAIN Meteorites Compact Light Revealing Powder or GUERLAIN Meteorites Pearls at half the price but the same glowy finish. This product you not going to get the streaked rainbow look but a beautiful dewy glow without the high shine shimmer of other highlighters. So this one fails as a Rainbow Highlighter but I like it more because it just works soo well and a traditional highlighter.

As to which one a prefer the Wet n Wild Rainbow Highlighter in Unicorn Glow it like a glitter bomb when off on my cheeks in a subtle rainbow of shades. It's a really fun event highlighter but I'd never wear it on the daily,..... sooo, Yes I prefer the Ciate London Mermaid Glow in Rainbow because it's not really as gimmicky as it looks and very wearable on pale to medium skin tone. Sheerly it just gives a wet/dewy look to the skin that might work for deeper skin tones but I think the formula could be worked into a deeper shade for deeper skin tones as well.
