Product:
Goomee first one is unused, the second one is used and rested for a few days, and the last one just taken out of hair with looping it 4 times.
The Goomee is a springing resin base plastic spiral cords that have a nurture to snap back to the original shape making them ideal for hair ties due to the mostly smooth surface except for one joint seem. Now it is a mostly snag-free compared to other elastics but because my hair is so curly/kinky, some strands can get twisted around the cords but nowhere near as severely as other standard elastic.

For these ones, they recommend 3 twists for the cord, but I found myself needing a 4th twist to keep my hair in place all day.

Now, these can be shrunk to the original size by heating them up with a blow dryer or dropping them into a cup of boiled water. I find that putting them back in the original box also helps to close them up the last few millimetres as well.

Wear:
I get all day wear with it sagging down about 1 inches with just 4 loops of the cord. I found it slipping a lot more with only 3 loops of the cord.

Packaging:
Is a clear plastic octagon box with writing over white ink base.

InvisiBobble Power unused, and just one taken out of hair.
The InvisiBobble Power is a springing resin base plastic spiral cords that have a nurture to snap back to the original shape making them ideal for hair ties due to the mostly smooth surface except for one joint seem. Now it is a primarily snag-free compared to other elastics but because my hair is so curly/kinky, some strand can get twisted around the cords but nowhere near as badly as other standard elastic. Now if that sounds the same as the Goomee it basically is.

For these ones, they recommend 3 twists for the cord, and I found that kept my hair in place all day. I found to have even fewer snags than the Goomee because I only need to twist it 3 times.

Now, these can be shrunk to the original size like the Goomee ones by heating them up with a blow dryer or dropping them into a cup of boiled water. I find that putting them back in the original box also helps to close them up the last few millimetres as well like. But I found this one doesn' want to shrink down to the original size without using heat to help them along, but they still retain their strength while opened up like in the photo above.

Wear: I get all day wear with minimal slippage with just 3 loops of the cord.

Packaging: Is a clear plastic box with writing over the plastic.

Now here is the kick the Goomee The Markless Hair Loop and the InvisiBobble ORIGINAL The Traceless Hair Ring are identical. I don't have one the InvisiBobble ORIGINAL anymore for this post (I keep losing my hair ties because they where clear lol) but the cord thickness and strength felt the same. I've seen other knock-off at Claire's that are flatter cords and not as round which I don't think will help keep your hair up as well. But they do have the thinner round cord ones as well.

The InvisiBobble POWER The Strong Grip Hair Ring however was the game changer for me. This one really like to grip my denser hair and makes it ideal for all-day wear.

Winner:
Both of the Goomee The Markless Hair Loop and InvisiBobble ORIGINAL The Traceless Hair Ring would work for fine the medium thickness hair type but if you're like me with medium-thick or thick hair strand types go for the InvisiBobble POWER The Strong Grip Hair Ring.

Now that I have the I'm just not reaching for my Goomee ones other than when I'm at home to quickly tie up my hair. The InvisiBobble POWER are the ones holding up with my running around at work. ;)
