NYX Highlight & Contour Pro Palette VS Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit in Light to Medium
The Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit retails for $40US and $52CAN for 6 pans x 0.11 oz total of product.

My full review of the NYX Highlight & Contour Pro Palette can be found in this link, but I wanted to do this Dare to Compare post of the two easily accessible contour and highlighter palettes on the market that were HEAVILY influenced by pro makeup brands like Ben Nye, Mehron, & Cinema Secrets.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit in Lght to Medium shades in Vanilla, Banana, Sand, Java, Fawn, & Havana.
Product:
The base formula of the matte shades is powdery but smooth (but not too buttery) to apply to the skin and diffuse out. I appreciate that it doesn't catch on skin texture either as I have Keratosis Pilaris that does flare up along the back of my jawline and under my chin that can be noticeable while applying my contour with drier powders when buffing it out.

The one shimmer shade in Sand is a softer satin texture to work with while still giving off a subtle glow on the skin. Very smooth to work with slightly more buttery in texture.

Colour:
Vanilla is a pale cream with a matte finish.
Banana is a pale yellow with a matte finish.
Sand light champagne with a shimmer finish.
Java is a warm brown with a matte finish.
Fawn is cool brown with a matte finish.
Havana rust brown orange with a matte finish.

Wear: Lasted 14+ hours on bare skin without a need for touching up.

Packaging: This is cardboard palette with a magnetic lid closure.

I hate to say it but the ingredient does make a huge difference in the formula here. Although the NYX one is workable it is more powdery and dry compared to Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit in Light to Medium shades.
NYX VS Anastasia Beverly Hills pan size.
The NYX 0.10 oz / 2.7g per pan size looks larger but is just a touch smaller by 0.01oz compared to ABH's 0.11 oz.
WINNER:
I hate to say it but formula wise the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit in Light to Medium kit wins for the texture is easier to work with. But they don't really cater to pale skin tones at all in the expanded shades range!!! you can get single pans to build your own powders but they don't have anything in the highlighter range that works for me.

NYX Highlight & Contour Pro Palette the first two shade of highlighter does work for me and the last 3 contour shade in I can work with as they are not too warm.
