COVERGIRL TruNaked Eye Shadow Palette in Peach Punch and Sunsets (w/ Too Faced Sweet Peach & Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Dupes) : Swatches & Review

PURCHASED
COVERGIRL TruNaked Eye Shadow Palette in Peach Punch and Sunsets.
The COVERGIRL TruNaked Eye Shadow Palettes retails for $11.99US and $12.99CAN at Walmart for 0.23 oz of product. I got these at Zerhs 9.98CAN, I think I got them on sale. ;)  These 2 CoverGirl palettes pulled shades from the Too Faced Sweet Peach & Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance. But they are not dead on dupe (but certainly close enough!) to also warrant this Dare to Compare post again.

Products:
These eyeshadows fall under 3 finishes matte/satin, satin/pearl, shimmer.

The matte shadows are very powdery, but the texture is smooth with a slight satin finish. Some of the shades can be slightly on the sheer side though.

The satin/pearls are closest to a pearl finish but subtler. The shades are finely milled, and the pigmentation is excellent, though a bit powdery.

The rest are the shimmer shades in these palettes, and none of them disappoints with some even being very pigmented and slightly powdery. None are really high shine either.

None of these shadows are chalky though. ;)

The COVERGIRL TruNaked Eye Shadow Palette in Peach Punch does have a sweet candy peach smell to it (like the Too Faced Sweet Peach)

Sunup is darker compared to Primavera.
Eventide is less red compared to Red Ochre.
Dusk is warmer less red compared to Antique Bronze.

I don't have the Too Faced Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette at the moment. Just wasn't using it as much to it went to a new home but this COVERGIRL TruNaked Eye Shadow Palette in Peach Punch is definitely pulling shades from this Too faced palette for this one.

Public Peach is paler compared to Candied Peach. Both shades are slightly sheer.
Peach Sangria is a slightly paler compared to Luscious.

Verdict:
Definitely dupes of the Too Faced Sweet Peach with Peach Punch & Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance with Sunset. The shadows are really nicely pigmented and still slightly powdery like the other CoverGirl palettes. I think that if you like to pop of colours in the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance are may just want those the COVERGIRL TruNaked Eye Shadow Palette in Sunsets will definitely fill that need for yours. The Peach Punch although goo is kind of boring considering there is only 2 pop of colour and a lot of generic brown tones in that palette.

But these palettes are lovely and great budget options. Me personally I'm still happy with my Modern Renaissance palette because all the shades work for me. ;)
