Product:
Physicians Formula Murumuru Butter Blush formula is similar to the Murumuru Butter Bronzer formula with a silky satin/cream hybrid of a powder. This does contain a variation of dimethicone which may explain this perfect finish. The texture of both the satin-matte shades is incredibly smooth to apply on the skin and easy to buff out to the faintest wash of colour or build it up to something more intense. The pearl formula of the shade Natural Glow is also very smooth to buff out, but it can be easily sheered out more on the skin.

The Physicians Formula Murumuru Butter Highlighter formula is even more creamy by nature and only set a bit to a more powdery finish after you buff it out. Both shades I have are incredibly high shine without it going completely glittery on the skin.

Natural Glow is a with a pearl finish.
Plum Rose is a dusty pink with a satin - matte finish.

Rosy Pink is a light cool toned pink with a satin - matte finish.

Murumuru Butter Highlighter in:

Pearl is an off-white with pale gold/pink shift with a shimmer finish.

Champagne is a peachy gold with a shimmer finish.


Wear: Both formulas I get over 8 hours on bare skin. Over foundation, I found these lasted all day for me.

The typically Physicians Formula structure with this Murumuru Butter Blush packaging with a lower compartment for a brush and mirror and the upper section with a tray and compact lid. This one has the clear window lid and funky gradient from pink to yellow colour.

The brush in this case, is an awkward rubber/foam paddle shade flock that have a plastic spin in it to keep it from being floppy. But the foam it's self is too stiff to work the powder on the skin.

Physicians Formula Murumuru Butter Highlighter in Pearl is actually shinier compared to Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter in Pearl. Becca's Pearl is also a truer white than the subtle white based pink/gold shift of Physicians Formula Pearl.

Murumuru Butter Blush in Natural Glow has the same texture and subtle shimmer as the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter in Moonstone, but Moonstone is way light and less peachy once on the skin.

Murumuru Butter Highlighter in Champagne is actually less shimmer compared to MAC Extra Dimension Skinfinish in Whisper of Gilt, but both shades look incredibly similar once blended out.

Verdict:
The Physicians Formula Murumuru Butter Blush in Natural Glow, Plum Rose, and Rosy Pink all have a beautiful formula but the shade Rosy Pink is not very flattering on most skin tone as it a too light of pink shade and not a very natural one as well as it started to turn purple on me. Plum Rose surprised me as a lovely contouring blush shade that should work on fair to medium skin tones.

Murumuru Butter Highlighter in Pearl and Champagne are amazing high shine highlighters from the drug store, and the formula comes in 3 other shades for more skin tones. Highly recommend for those that like blinding highlighter options without the actual glitter involved. For me, this is a far as I like the frost to go. ;)
