SYNTHETIC FLUORPHLOGOPITE, GLYCERIN, MICA, AQUA/WATER/EAU, CYCLOPENTASILOXANE, CETEARYL ALCOHOL, CERA ALBA/BEESWAX/CIRE D’ABEILLE, DIMETHICONE, CAPRYLYL GLYCOL, LANOLIN, SORBITAN OLEATE, ETHYLHEXYL PALMITATE, STEARIC ACID, ETHYLHEXYL METHOXYCINNAMATE, JOJOBA ESTER, TOCOPHERYL ACETATE, TIN OXIDE, BHA. +/- IRON OXIDES, TITANIUM DIOXIDEProduct: The formula of these eyeshadows is a blend between ColourPop's pot eyeshadows and
Stila Magnificent Metals Foil Finish Eye Shadow. Much like ColourPop's pot eyeshadows, these do dry down on the skin on their own without adding anything to them as a binder, but they have a wetter texture and foiled appearance similar to Stila's. They can be applied sheerly or build up to full coverage without any issue.
I will say the Chromium shade is the most like the Stila formula with large shimmer particles in them and they do wear down quicker than the other 3 shades on their own.
I found using a synthetic brush or your fingers worked best for applying these and they do have enough working time to defuse out before they set.
Because glycerin is the main humectant in the formula, you can reactivate these with a slight drop more of pure glycerin, but too much can cause the formula longevity to on the skin to break down.
I find these apply best by adding layers to build up the pigmentation.
Colour:
Bismuth is a pure white shimmer with no colour base.
Californium is a beige with silver with pale gold micro-shimmer.
Chromium is a gold/peach pearl with pale gold micro-shimmer.
Titanium is a warm coral pearl with silver micro-shimmer.
Wear: The shades Bismuth, Californium, & Titanium wear for 8 hours on their own with minor shimmer fall out on my hooded lids. Not bad but much better with a primer. Chromium wears for 4-6 hours on their own before seeing glitter fall out on the cheeks but they are still on the lid past that point. ;)
Packaging: Simple pot style packaging that can be twisted tightly. The eyeshadows come to shrink wrapped but I found some of the lids were not close tightly so make sure to seal these as they can dry out like colour pop eyeshadows.
Verdict:
These are a fun way to add shimmer to the eye without having to mix your shimmer/glitter to get a hin shine sheen on the lids that last longer than eye gloss.... Eye gloss is not hooded lids wearable. lol
