Concrete Minerals Loose Mineral Eyeshdows & Pro Matte Eyeshdows: Swatches & Review

Blood and Guts, Ember, Napalm, Rocked, Fame , Juvenile, The Vaccine, Bat-Breaker, Kinky, Bruise, Bulletproof, Domino, Gossip, Hustle, & Smut
I recently got these sample through a MUA swap of Concrete Minerals Mineral Eyeshdows & Pro Matte Eyeshdows. They retails for $7US for the mineral eyeshadows at 1.5 grams and $8US for Pro matte at 2.5 gram jar of products.

I've been out of the loop of mineral and indie makeup brands only because I was pretty overedold with over 50 brands I had tried out about 7 years ago over the course of 4 years. O_o I kept my favourite for eyeshadows The all Natural Face, Fyrinnae (will be posting my 50+ shades this coming year) and Aromaleigh. Concrete Minerals has been on my radar but I just wasn't taking the bait until this offer came up. ;)

Product & Colour: Because these are loose shadows using a damp brush or a mixing medium is recommended when working with these. For the swatches I applied these dry but built them up.

Smut: Eggplant and brown colour shift depending on the lighting (Shimmer)

Hustle: Rich Merlot shade (Shimmer)

Blood and Guts: Rusty brown red that sifts to a green/aqua tone in the shimmer. The camera could not pick up the green. (Shimmer)

Ember: True warm orange. (Matte)

Napalm: Rusty Gold/Orange (Shimmer)

Rocked: Light Peach but show the violet sheen to be so sublet that it leans this slightly more pink then anything. (Shimmer)

Fame: Bright yellow (Matte)

Juvenile: is described as an Acid-green w/ turquoise sparkle. I find it leans much more Yellow with a bellow base with the turquoise sparkle pulling it a slightly cooler tone. (Shimmer)

The Vaccine: Cool Grey with bright green duochrome. (Shimmer)

Bat-Breaker:  Warm Grey with grey with turquoise and red sheen. (Shimmer)

Kinky: Black with dark teal sheen.  (Shimmer)

Bruise: Deep navy blue. (Matte)

Bulletproof: Bright royal blue. (Matte)

Domino: Peacock blue. (Matte)

Gossip: Bright grass green. (Matte)

Wear: These wear for 5 hours without a base for most shades because they are so pigmented. But again a base is recommended when using loose powders as they are not formulated with a binder.

Packaging: Standard plastic jars.

Daylight swatch: Smut, Hustle, Blood and Guts, Ember, Napalm, Rocked, Fame, Juvenile, The Vaccine, Bat-Breaker, Kinky, Bruise, Bulletproof, Domino, & Gossip

Flash swatch: Smut, Hustle, Blood and Guts, Ember, Napalm, Rocked, Fame, Juvenile, The Vaccine, Bat-Breaker, Kinky, Bruise, Bulletproof, Domino, & Gossip

Verdict:
Nice....... Just all of these work nicely for the finishes that they are. The site also gives you some swatches for reference and decent descriptors for choosing the shades you want as well.
