These are pigment dense creams that work well with liquid and cream foundations. They have a nice slip to them and blend out evenly on the skin but also settle down to a more matte finish.

Hollow is a neutral taupe brown with a cool base tone.
Androgen is a warm coral pink.

Wear: 12 hours so far with wear but can last longer with setting with a powder.
Packaging: The jar lid is friction fitted on the pot.

Make Up For Every Flash colours are similar. I found the Illamasqua cream pigment formula is denser / more waxed based than the flash making it slight more sheer in comparison but for a skin enchasing product that is what you need.

Hello! I had someone recommend Hollow as a possible contour color for me. However, it appears to have a yellow undertone. I have pink undertones in my skin and any yellow looks quite obvious, so am I right to think that Hollow would be a bad investment for me as a contour color?
ReplyDeleteActually Hallow is a neutral taupe brown, the yellow you see in the pot is just a colour film on the surface in the first photo. I showed a second shot after taking the film off and you can see on the edges that orange tone still in the second photo.
DeleteIt is a neutral brown though so there is still some warmth but it's neither yellow or orange in my opinions. The shade will also be sheered out when you use it to give the skin a shadowed look, so whatever base colour will blend into the skin rather than sit on top of it. I think it' perfect for all pale to light skin tone wither your Olive (me), Yellow or Pink undertones.
Then again if you like powder contours there are more option but out of all the creme products this is the only one on the market that works of fair skin if your interested.
