Maybelline Color Sensational The Buffs formula is a glossy cream finish that feels smooth on the lips. This shade does settle slightly into the lip lines but it not noticeable unless you're up close.

The Creamy Matte Lip Color formula is very pigmented smooth to apply on the lips. The feeling on the lips is not hydrating but also not drying as you wear it.

This formula also has mix issues. It's not a make or break issue because I found that the product still blended fine on the lips, but because they are so pigmented you get a pocket of dense pigment clumps in some of the shade as shown about. This is not an uncommon issue with matte lipstick though both high end and drugstore price range.

Colour:
920 Nude Lust is a flesh tone pink nude with a glossy finish.

655 Daringly Nude is a blush tone nude with a soft matte finish.
660 Touch Of Spice is a rust rose with a soft matte finish.
665 Lust For Blush is a dusty pink with a soft matte finish.
670 Ravishing Rose is a soft blue based mid-tone pink with a soft matte finish.

Wear: For about 6-8 hours before needing a touch-up.

Packaging: Is a basic lipstick bullet tube with the hot purple lid that slides down to the base.

Verdict

The Maybelline Color Sensational The Buffs in 920 Nude Lust is just pink enough to not make me look dead while wearing compare to most of the flesh tone shades in the line.

The Creamy Matte Lip Color formula is my favourite drugstore cream formula. My favourite matte is still the Wet n Wild Mega Last Lip Color because they last on the lips for so long. But this Maybelline Creamy Matte formula is the most comfortable to wear with excellent pigmentation and longevity. It's just a shame that there is only 1/3 of the shades from the line are offered in Canada!
