Violet Voss Bright Vibes Neon Pressed Pigment Palette.

The Violet Voss The Rainbow Eyeshadow Palette retails for $30US and $40CAN for 10 x 0.11oz / 3.2g eyeshadows.

I had originally intended to do a Dare to Compare post with this palette and the Lime Crime Venus Vivid palette but it's gone MIA on the Lime Crime Website... I had actually gotten it free with purchase and honestly, my review for it was sort of Meh. Eyeshadows worked over primer but they were stiff and chalky and none of those shades were UV reactive.  Nothing like this palette so lets get into it. ;)

These Matte shades are a very pigmented formula but retain a smoothness that is hard to get with these types of pure pigments. The two true neon shades Leg Warmers and Boombox are slightly on the sheer side on bare skin that that is a vast improvement as these pigments are notoriously powder and sheer and you need to saturate them into a base or mixing medium to get they to show up as true blocks of colour.

Colour by row:
Fanny Pack is a hot deep watermelon with a matte finish.

Awesome is a coral orange with a matte finish.
Leg Warmers is a neon orange with a matte finish. This shade is UV reactive.
Neon is a bright yellow with a matte finish.
Aerobics is a bright green with a matte finish.

Acid Wash is a bright blue with a matte finish.
Jellies is a royal blue with a matte finish.
Radical is a rich violet with a matte finish.
Biker Shorts is a berry magenta with a matte finish. This shade is UV reactive but it looks like it was mixed with another pigment to make magenta so it now as glowing under UV lights.
Boombox is a neon pink with a matte finish. This shade is UV reactive. 

Wear: Most I get about 7 hours of wear without a base. But the base makes these shade last So much longer!

Packaging: The palette is a cardboard laminated box with a mirror in the lid. The cardboard makes it easier to pry out the eyeshadows for depotting if you want to.

Leg Warmers and Boombox are true neon pigments while Biker Shorts has neon pink pigment mixed it that makes it glow to the visible eye but not as strongly under defused UV light as the photo above.

Verdict:
This is a perfect palette.... really! All the shades perform perfectly on the skin and even the true neon eyeshadow can work on bare skin but I primer will make those shades pop more. This is a great compliment palette to the Violet Voss The Rainbow Eyeshadow Palette with these bright matte shades.

If you're at all interested in bright shads then don't sleep on this one as it rere to get these pigments all in a smooth eyeshadow formula to work with.
