Twist Up Retractable Lipstick Crayon: Bubble, Fizz, & Mimosa

Fall is coming... and the first sight of fall collections are already in stores. Shoppers Drug Mart is the exclusive launch pad used by Annabelle label for new product launches over the years. The new BB line is also in Shoppers stores now but I was mostly excited to try these Retractable Lipstick Crayons first. The displays also had testers for all the shade so there was no need for guessing while buying a shade out of the range of 12 shade.They retail for $10.99CAN in store.

Daylight Swatch: Bubble, Fizz, & Mimosa

Product: All the shades range from more opaque colours like Bubble to more glossy semi sheer shades like Fizz and Mimosa. The texture is creamy/buttery when they are on you can feel them but not in a heavy way but rather you feel like your lips are coated in a balm.

Colour: For the most part they are true to the tube with  the exception of Fizz which is a gold shimmer with a blue based pink as the base colour. Fizz is also the only shade that has shimmer which is why the tube changes colour as the gold warms up the pink but give a tin two tone effect on the lips.

Wear: Close to 4 hours wear. Some shades do stain your lips like Fizz or dark pink/reds.

Packaging: Twist up crayon with now need to sharpen and easy to work with to keep the tip pointed.

Compare: I have Urban Decay Super-Saturated in Lovechild (.1oz) $23CAN which is a glossy semi-sheer shade, I didn't buy the rest of the shades I personally found them too bright on my uber pale skin but the texture is very similar to the other Semi-Sheer shades of the Annabelle Twist Up's.

Milani Lip Flash in Flashy (.1oz) $8.99CAN is pure shimmer in this line so it's not fair to compare these but it base of them also feel similar to the the Semi-Sheer Twist Up's.
Sytli-Style Give me Lip 0.06 oz $9.99 CAN (will review) is more like a true lip pencil that it's denser then the Twist Up's but still creamy to apply.

Verdict

Annabelle Twist Up Retractable Lipstick Crayon are (0.05 oz) are half the price of the Urban Decay Super-Saturated (.1oz) and although you getting half the product you are also not wasting any of the product by sharpening which is something to consider. Absolute and Mai Tai I want to pick up as well in the future.
