Urban Decay Vice lipsticks packing compared the LE Alice through the looking glass tube. |
Theis lipsticks I picked up come in two formulas.
The Creme formula of Weirdo is a smooth to apply and creamy texture that doesn't migrate on the lips. It was also very slightly hydration on the lips as well.
The Comfort Matte formula does tug slightly at the lips as you apply this shade, so I recommend going in with a lips brush to get a clean line. But the formula is smooth in texture and doesn't feel drying at all to me. This shade is also very opaque so really only need a thin layer to get the coverage you want. I found that this Unicorn shade does shift in colour and deepens slightly as it dries down on the lips.
Colour:
Weirdo is a light warm pink with a cream finish
Unicorn is a pale coral pink with a creme matte finish.
Wear:
I got 6 hours wear time with the creme formula before noticing any fading. And 8-9 hours wear with the comfort matte formula.
Packaging: Basic twist-up bullet lipsticks. The new Vice lipstick bullet base it shaped like a Shot Gun shell bullet jacket. This was Heavier than the LE Alice Through the Looking Glass packaging but much lighter in weight compared to the Original Urban Decay lipsticks. The cap of the new VICE lipstick had the same textured gunmetal finish as the original packaging but it also much lighter in weight as well.
NOTE: this post contains the original 1996 vintage bullet case packaging. I have never seen the original products so it's cool the new lipsticks mimic this old packaging.

Urban Decay Vice in Weirdo, bareMinerals Moxie in Speak Your Mind, Urban Decay in Naked, NYX Butter in Candy Buttons, and Maybelline Peach Poppy. |
The bareMinerals Marvelous Moxie lipstick in Speak Your Mind is a rosy light pink with a warm base but it read cooler compared to Weirdo. It also as a similar formula to the VICE creme lipstick.
The Urban Decay Vice lipstick Naked is a deeper and dustier version of the shade Weirdo with the same creme formula.
The Maybelline Color Sensational lipstick in Peach Poppy is a sheerer and lighter and vibrant pink coral compared to Weirdo. But on my lips, this shade cools down to blend with my natural lip colour for a closer match.
The NYX Butter lipstick in Candy Buttons is a sheer glossy cream formula with a warmer orange lean to the shade compared to Weirdo. On the lips, it looks like a brighter shade of pink.
