The Liquid Matte Lipstick formula is a matte finish with a very think consistency that could feather if you apply too much on the lips slightly instead of thinly. The formula takes a few minutes to dry and set with a very little tacky texture the fades after the first hour. I found these new sets were a little thinner in texture compared to the other 3 I have reviewed previously but they still behave the same as the slightly thicker formula.
The two shades of Material Girl and Famous suffer from the pigments used to make the shades. This shade range is really hard to get right in all liquid lipstick formulas across brand so I'm not angry about the slight patchy dark spots but it's good to point out that they will take more work to get even on the lips.
The Liquid Matte Lipstick formula for the two metallics of Socialite and Showgirl are extremely thin in formula and under pigmented. But because the formula is so thin layering up the shades feels like one layer of the rest of the matte liquid lipsticks. The downside is these shade never become fully opaque on the lips.

Icon is a warm brick pink/orange with a matte finish.
Socialite is a deep rose gold with a gold shimmer finish. This one is VERY sheer.
Red Edition:
Heartbreaker is a cool bright red with a matte finish.
Material Girl is a plum with a matte finish. This one is semi-opaque.
Showgirl is a merlot with a shimmer finish. This one is sheer.
Famous is a blood red with a matte finish. This one is semi-opaque.
Wear: For about 6-8 hours. This shade wore down with dignity so I found no harsh fade edges.

Verdict:
These are great little set to try out more shade of Huda Beauty shades. I love the formula of all the matte shades. I wish the metallic shades were double the amount of pigment used but the shades Socialite and Showgirl are so pretty I'm willing to work with the over a lip liner to intensify the opacity of these shade.
The only disappointing thing for me was the Nude Set only because I just don't look too good in browns in general, although I can see myself rocking Flirt with a smokey look and Bombshell is just the right amount of pink in it for a nude for me.
