The Anastasia Beverly Hills Matte Lipstick formula is a denser matte finish that feels smooth on the lips but coats in one thin layer. It feels dry on the lips but it's not drying as a matte lipstick and has really good stay power for it.

I did have a dry patch on my top lip that I could not exfoliate yet because my lip was still damaged from the cold snap we had last week. :( The shades do cling to it but I also covered really well considering it not the most ideal texture to cover. I did have to touch up there a little bit early then the rest of my lips as well.

Colour:
Orchid is a dusty cool tone pink with a matte finish.

Cotton Candy is a bright cool tone neon pink with a matte finish.

Stargazer is a brick warm hot pink with a matte finish.

Plumeria is a deep berry pink with a matte finish.

Ruby is a rich warm red with a matte finish.

Wear: For about 7 hours before needing a touch-up.

Packaging: Is a plastic bulette style tube with the cap in black with the Anastasia Beverly Hills work logo embossed on the side and the gold logo on tip. The bulette base is also gold with the Anastasia Beverly Hills logo in the black bulette case side.

Verdict

The formula won't be for everyone because despite the formula being thin on the lips you feel the formula being dry but not as dry as a liquid lipstick formula. The shades look fantastic while wearing them though but I was surprised how cool tone the hit is with Stargazer being the only warm shade.
