The matte shades in this neon formula are tough!!! I'm impressed how not powdery they are while they still have full pigmentation. That said the shades #7 and #8  were a little patchy so pack them on over a primer and they will be fine. ;)

The shimmer shades have the formula that does have Calcium Aluminum Borosilicate/Calcium Sodium Borosilicate/Aluminum Calcium Sodium as the glitter elements in these eyeshadows, and I'm loving it because it adds glitter without the chunky glitter you need to mix with a base. Shades 2 and 4 in the palette are very sheer glitter toppers as the base is pretty non-existent but are very pretty and need to be applied with your finger as the brush just doesn't pick them up. The shade #9 can be used with a stiff brush, but the fingers work way better as well.

Colours:
#1 is a bright buttercup yellow with a matte finish.
#2 is a bright orange with a yellow golden/green shimmer finish. This has a sheer wash of colour.

#3 is a fiery orange-red with a matte finish. 

#4 is a hot pink with a pink shimmer finish. This has a sheer wash of colour.

#5 is a bright peach with a matte finish. 

#6 is a hot fuchsia with a matte finish. 

#7 is a warm orange with a matte finish. 

#8 is a hot, warm pink with a matte finish. 

#9 is an electric yellow with a bright yellow shimmer finish. This has a semi-sheer wash of colour.

Wear: Most I get about 6 hours of wear without a base for the shimmers and some of the matte shades. I do see some fallout of the glitter after 4+ hours without a base. But with a primer, these last way longer on my hooded eyes my hot makeup day teste over a primer still had shimmer and the shades were still bold. ;)

Packaging: The palette is a neon plastic box compact with a clear lid with a mirror backing with embossed lettering. The inside of the palette a deep orange chrome finish tray with a mirror in the lid and a snap closure. This new style palette is slightly heavier weight compared to the original Huda Beauty 9 pan palette.

Shades in: #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6, #7, #8, & #9.

Daylight swatches: #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6, #7, #8, & #9.

Flash swatches: #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6, #7, #8, & #9.

Shades used in this look: #9 inner corner, #7 and #2 over it on the middle of the lid, #3 and #4 over the outer corner, and #8 through the outer crease.

Verdict:
This is a fun hot/neon pigment eyeshadow palette that tickles my cosplay funnybone for sure as these are shades I have gravitated to in the past and they do POP. However, there is a learning curve with the pigments and shimmer toppers because they are not a traditional eyeshadows formula. To me, it's worth it, and I'll be watching the Neon Pink palette because it's just as beautiful for those that like pink to purple tones.

The Noen Green it extremely patch however testing those ones in the store, so It's a hard pass for me.
