Product:
The matte formula feels creamy on the lips while applying and is fully pigmented in their shades. Thes doe dry down slightly while wearing and tend to transfer less than a traditional lipstick. I found my self-blotting my lips at the 6-hour mark, and very little product came off the tissue at that time. The shade Party Commencing was the only one that looks a tiny bit chalky due to the nature of the pigment used.

The satin formula finish feels buttery on the lips and fully pigmented.

Verdict:
This set is a sort of love letter to MAC fans as the best selling shades made I into this set with a few bright and lighter shades added to round it out. This is a great introductory set that although it expensive does have a $105US value in terms of the product inside it, so it's a great way to try out a number of mostly matte shades from the brand.

For MAC that lives buy LE products so often making a value set of permanent shades is a great way for people interested in the brand to get into their product ranges and I'm a fan of a number of the permanent products.
