The Matte formula for these pastel shades are impressively pigmented in one stroke with smooth applications and buttery texture on the eyes. On the eyelid, you don't need to go back really unless it skips due to your skin texture. On the waterline I still needed to take two passes to get to full coverage once I let the first stroke set/dry on my waterline.
The Luminous shade in Champagne is very smooth to apply in one stroke but your full cover you will need to go back again on both the eye line and the waterline for full-colour coverage.
The only shade I found a little bit harder to work with was the Beige shade ad the pigmented used made the formula slightly drier to work with as it would dry down faster than the other 3 shades.

Packaging: This is a plastic composite pencil that needs to be sharpened.
The Annabelle Waterline Matte Kohl Eyeliner in Beige is more peach toned compared to the MAC Chromagraphic Pencils in NC15/NW20. Formula wise in this shade I prefer the MAC NC15/NW20 pencil as it feels less dry on the waterline like the Champagne, Mint, & Lavender shade in this formula. MAC NC15/NW20 does fade down more evenly and last 8 hours before needing to reapply.

Colour:
Champagne is a white gold with a pearl finish.
Beige is a peach nude with a matte finish.
Mint is a is a pale dusty mint with a matte finish.
Lavender is a pale lavender with a matte finish.
Wear: As an eyeliner these definitely gets close to 16 hours wear on their own. My waterline is a bitch to work with, my waterline eats most product up in 2-3 hours for me. I actually got 6+ hours with full product and up to 12 hours with fading happening in my outer corner of my eyes which makes sense in that were my eyes tend to water most and when I blink that is the point of most/longest pressure for me.

The Annabelle Waterline Matte Kohl Eyeliner in Lavender is a touch paler compared to the Make Up For Ever Aqua XL Eye Pencil Waterproof Eyeliner in M-92.
For these shades, I prefer the formula of the Annabelle Waterline Matte Kohl over the Make Up For Ever Aqua XL as they are creamery to apply to the eyes and the waterline.
This is the second formula I've tried that impressed me regarding wear on the waterline in a gel formula. I'm not sure what magic the Germany lab whipped out for this one since they did so well with the pale shades I'm expecting the Black & Brown shades in this line to perform just as well if not better because pastels are really hard to get right. *_*
