The Morphe 35OS - 35 Color Shimmer Nature Glow Eyeshadow Palette retails for $24US, and I got this for $19CAN at IMATS this year for 35 x 1" pans ( at 56.2g / 1.98oz net weight).

Ingredients:

Talc, Mica, Mineral Oil, Kaolin, Titanium Dioxide, Magnesium Stearate, Isopropyl Palmitate, Lanolin, Methylparaben, polyparaben, propylparaben. May Contain: Mica and Titanium dioxide, Iron Oxides, Manganese Violet, Ultramarine Blue, Chrome Oxide Green, Hydrated Chrome Oxide Green, FD&C Red No.40 A1 Lake, FD&C Yellow No.5 A1 Lake, FD&C Blue No.1 A1 Lake.

Now, this palette is all shimmer satin and pearl shades, and the reason I went for the 35OS palette over the original 35O is that of the 7 (aka a full row of shadows) where practically all shades of deep brown.... I don't need that many deep browns, the average user also doesn't need 7 pale shades either, but at least with the original palette, there was a mix of matte and shimmer.

As to what shade were converted from matte to a shimmer, satin or pearl are:

Row 1; Shade 1, Shade 5, Shade 6, & Shade 7.
Row 2; Shade 1, Shade 4, Shade 5, Shade 6, & Shade 7.
Row 3; Shade 1, Shade 2, Shade 3, Shade 4, & Shade 7.
Row 4; Shade 3, Shade 4, & Shade 7.
Row 5; Shade 1, Shade 2, Shade 3, Shade 4, & Shade 5.

As you can see from above 22 shades were converted from their matte counterparts. While the other 13 shades are the same from the original 35O

The satin/pearl shades are smooth in texture and apply nicely overall.

The shimmer shades do pack a punch in terms of pigmentation, and the texture is buttery which allows you to sheer out nicely if you want a wash of the shade as well.

Wear: Most I get about 6 to 8 hours of wear without a base.

Packaging: Simple large black plastic compact with no mirror and a snap closure.

Shade 3 is a deep cool brown with a pearl finish.
Shade 4 is a bright copper with a shimmer finish.
Shade 5 is a deep moss brown with a pearl finish.
Shade 6 is a bright, warm red with a pearl finish.
Shade 7 is a bright copper/red with a shimmer finish.

Verdict:
This is an excellent formula shimmer to pearl shadow palette with NO duds in it. But it's a tad too much. They could cut the number of shades down to 18 shades and create the same looks without the extra 17 shadows in reality. But at $24 you are getting a tonne of product with an excellent formula.


That said this was the only palette I was interested in buy/reviewing from the palette options because they have 50 shades of nudes, browns, & smoky from the brand at IMATS and it seems that their colourfull palettes are being discontinued. I might be a sellout and get the Jaclyn Hill Palette because it's the first palette from Morphe that felt was well rounded. It's just a matter of a sale or free international shipping even to get me there.
