Guerlain Parure De Nuit Pressed Powder Daylight |
Guerlain Parure De Nuit Pressed Powder is not new and LE so why review it now? Well I was slight regretting not getting but at the time I wasn't overly impressed with Guerlain meteorites pearls or pressed powder. They where nice but the shimmer in them was dupeable for sure. What I've been searching for was an ultra fine dewy glow of a highlighter. Something that would undetectable shimmer to the eye. I got this for $54 including shipping from a UK Wholesaler on Ebay with a good seller reputation.
Even on my skin this reads an ultra light beige. The pan does have a over spray of fine shimmer probably to give the embossed feather texture more definition when you fist see it. This product just give a nice ultra fine dewy glow to the skin a true lit from within look.
Wear:
Packaging:
Glossy finish black metal compact. That have a mirror and secondary well for natural hair brush that was dyed teal. The brush is not bad but I personally find natural hair brush scratch on my sensitive skin in general. Also comes with a velvet pouch.
Also the well for the pan has a small hole on the underside that allow you to depot the pan without issue as a bonus! The glue they used is not hard but a gummy type meaning you can depot and an place it back in with out issue so long as you keep the glue dust free.
Price:
It originally retailed for $67US and $76CAN for 0.35 oz. This is by the most expensive single item I'll probably ever own that's not a palette.
Daylight and Flash Swatches: Rose inside, White outer rim and beige body of pan |
Daylight and Flash Swatches: Parure De Nuit mixed |
If Guerlain produces another Fall/Holiday Pressed Powder I HIGHLY recommend checking it out this is unique to me for the finish I was seeking.
