EcoTools Six Piece Day-to-Night Brush Clutch Set & Flat Eyeliner Brush: Review

EcoTools Six Piece Day-to-Night Brush Clutch Set & Flat Eyeliner Brush
EcoTools Six Piece Day-to-Night Brush Clutch Set Retails for $16.98US or $18.99CAN at Walmart and the Flat Eyeliner Brush retails for $3.99US or $6.99CAN. I've sort of dislike the bristle fibers they use in most of their set in the past as the brushes were too flimsy for me so I passed them on most of them to other people. BUT this new set and brushes has new fibers being used and the ferrule is mush more densely packed.
Clutch, Round powder brush, Smudge brush, Detailed lip/liner brush, Pointed concealer brush, Stay-there shadow brush, & Flat eyeliner brush.

Brushes:

Round powder brush is a fluff small brush that is but more use as a loose powder brush or a defused blush brush.
Smudge brush is a fluff small crease. I just love the size of it

Detailed lip/liner brush small lip brush that could double as an ticker eyeliner brush of eyeshadow detailer.

Pointed concealer brush is just that a small pencil style brush. Great for concealing small areas of blemished but you could also use it to smooth out your eyeliner as well.

Stay-there shadow brush is one of my favourite shape for packing on eye shadow. Although not as dense as some I have you can use the flat sides to pack on the eyeshadow to the lip then used to tip to lay down the crease shade as well as blend it out. For a simple 3 colour eyeshadow look with only this brush. ;)

Flat eyeliner brush is a push liner style that it's really hard to find outside of speciality brush companies. I use it to fill in my lash line with eyeliner and eyeshadow.

The Clutch however is awful!!!! It laminated fabric to what feel cardboard, which if fine but the zipper is impossible to close on this as the teeth don't seem to line up properly and the clutch is so stiff it spring open when mean you have yo hold it close and try to zip it with one hand.  I personally just trashed it. >_<

Ferrule & Handle:
It the same bamboo used for the handles and the ferrules has this sanded bronze tone metal with the E embossed into them. The ferrules also fell a touch denser compare to the old brushes. The also refined their fusing proses to the handles.

Bristles:
They're again using two type of bristle textures; Wavy textured ones the simulated animal hair for powder product use and smooth ones to work with cream product. The nice thing about synthetic hairs is that you can used them with any type of product however.

The noticeable improvement is with the wavy bristles as the filaments are a bit thicker then the predecessor, this mean their not as floppy! The smooth one on the other hand are finer compared to old ones meaning you don't see as many visible brush strokes.

VERDICT:
I look forward to see more of these new line brush show up in store as they are replace the old stock slowly. These are a nice and functionally alternative that you can find locally for brushes!
