Sally Hansen Sugar Coat™ in Razzleberry & Sour Apple |
Product & Colour:
The 3D particles look to me clear or translucent in this formula. The texture is razed but still smooth without a top coat. The raised part look matte compared to the cream colour base the the particles are suspended in. If you add a top coat the colour intensifies and looks more like a candy with a gloss coat on.It takes 2 coat fore coverage of the nail but with 3 coats you get more texture.
Razzleberry is a bright Caribbean blue.
Sour Apple is a pastel mint green.
Wear: About 5 days on my fingers on it's own without a base or top coat. With a base coat it didn't chip for me unless I jammed my finger on something.
Packaging: Simple glass small bottle with a standard brush. The label is texture as well with raised micro domes.
Compare:
These are the matte version of the shimmer Sand Texture from OPI and the Pixidust from Zoya. The particle size is also the same as the Sand Texture.

VERDICT:
LOVE the texture of the sand polishes, these on remind me of wall spackle but smoother in texture. The fact that these shade are all cream finish but look matte means that they are visible with this line. I like to pic up Lick-O-Rich (dragon claw texture anyone. ;) ) and Cotton Candies.
It also come in a white shade called Sugar Fix, if you like the ideal about these but not the colours you could use Sugar Fix as a two coat base layer and add whatever top colour you want as well to save some money.
