Products
NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil are pigment rich wax based cream shadow. the formula is very emollient and need to beset with a power. But these are pretty good base for eyeshadows when apply thinly and with a little TLC with a powder you can use this as face paint as well.

L.A. Colors Jumbo Eye Pencil Shadow Liner as a oil base cream product. This it very heavy in the oil leading to a lot of slip when applying and they don't really solidify on the skin. Because this formula is so emollient it has a tendency to crease quickly on my hooded eyes rather quickly even with a powder.

  1. Thanks for the swatches! I got Pots & Pans, and likig it so far, but it creases bad after couple of hours!

    1. Yeah the thing about these pencils is that they base better bases as they are essentially creme stage makeup that needs to be set with a powder. ;)

  2. I'm not sure if NYX still makes all these colors, because I don't see all of these even on their site, though I wish I would-I love NYX Jumbo pencils. Though in all honesty, I really haven't been able to tell any difference between the NYX ones & the LA Colors ones. They seem equally pigmented. I have heard they're sister companies, but I'm not sure. I haven't had any problems with the LA Colors fading or creasing on me, & I have hooded eyes too. But, I do always wear a primer underneath any jumbo pencils because by themselves, the NYX or LA Colors will crease on me. But so long as there's a primer, it's fine & the LA Colors are only $2 at the beauty supply I go to!
