Product:
Hot Sensation Beauty powder is a light and slightly satin finish to the product. The product is more matte with a dewy glow. A touch darker then my skin tone in the pan but I would consider this as a subtle highlighter once on the face and blended out.
Toxic Tale lipstick I had purchased back in 2010 but at the time I wasn't in love with the shade on me. Now literally more then 5 years later I'm loving it.
The consistency seems to has improved with this satin formula. The finish seem buttery on the lips and fully pigmented. I did find the 2010 Venomous Villains version slightly less opaque but not by much. I felt like it pulled pinker one my lips back then though.
Colour:
Hot Sensation is a pale pink nude with a satin finish.
Toxic Tale is a hot coral red with a satin finish.
Wear: The beauty powder lasts on my skin past the 12+ hours.
The lipstick lasts about 5-6 hours which is normal for MAC's Satin formula. The colour does stain, which does linger 2+ hours after the main product wears off as well.
Packaging: Simple black compact with a mirror in the lid and basic black bullet tube.

Toxic Tale (flakey skin around my mouth that day. >_< ) |
Verdict:
Love them. The beauty powers are still my MAC addiction, simply because they never have any permanent selection and these powers have a range of uses. But they all run on the light spectrum, a perfect fit for fair girls like me.
Toxic Tale it definitely one of those statement shades. It's little warm for the Winter but when Spring comes along I'll be rocking it.

ReplyDeleteYes I know that my writing offends you. But I have taken a lot of remittal writing classes and it doesn't fix my dyslexia at all. As I mentioned in my FAQ my brain is just not hardwired for the written language.
