Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Melancholia, Beloved, Jeffree, Outlaw, Lolita, Lolita II, and Witches. |
The
Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks retails for $20US and $24CAN for 0.22 oz of product.
My first shade I purchased from the line was Jeffree but now that they added more shades, Jeffree was discontinued to be sold in the Sephora Canada stores.
Product:
I have 2 version of the Everlasting Liquid Lipstick Formula. Jeffree and Outlaw is the version 2 of this formula, they are slightly thicker but fully opaque in one pass. The texture is matte but cushioned on the lips.
Melancholia, Beloved, Lolita, Lolita II, and Witches are the current formula version 3. The formula is thinner in texture and slightly sheerer in 1 pass/layer. It does build up in 2 thin layers to be fully opaque but it feels slightly more powdery on the lip compared to version 2. Some are sheerer than others probably due to the type of pigment used.
Colour:
Melancholia is a light cool tone pink.
Beloved is a soft warm mid-tone pink.
Jeffree is a vibrant coral pink.
Outlaw is a rich warm red.
Lolita is a rosy mid-tone brown. The formula is slightly sheer but can build up in two thin coats.
Lolita II is a blushed tan brown. (shade in full size has been launched at a Rouge / VIB first purchase online)
Witches is a deep black. The formula is slightly sheer but can build up in two thin coats. Needs a lipliner to keep the edges clean I found.
Wear: For about 6-8 hours. They also wear down with dignity so I found no harsh fade edges.
Packaging: A clear tube with a doe foot applicator.

Verdict:
These are great, I know that they have reformulated the line 3 times so far but this last version as a nice texture while wearing on the lips.
You defiantly don't need both Beloved and Jeffree though, even though I still love both. ;)
I love Jeffree and Lolita II so much!
