I there are 2 distinctive formulas in this range. The satin and mattes.
The only satin I own is the 05 Infinite Rose shade which has a sheer matte base with a lot of fine micro shimmer loaded into the colour to turn it into a satin finish look.
The mattes are opaque and may have shimmer in the colour due to the nature of the pigment but the overall look of the shade is a true matte or a soft matte finish with the fine shimmer. 02 Peach Tart and 13 Marvelous Mauve are true mattes, with 04 Coral Crush, and 06 Pink Souffle being the soft matte.

05 Infinite Rose - is a is a slightly sheer pink with gold shimmer.
06 Pink Souffle is a is a mid-tone blue based pink with a matte finish. This shade has micro shimmer to it giving it a satin look.
13 Marvelous Mauve is a pale a dusty darker mauve with a matte finish.
Wear: For about 6-7 hours before fading starts to occur. They also wear down with dignity so I found no harsh fade edges as the faded from inside the lip outwards.

Verdict:
These are by far the favourite long-wear lipstick formula. They are matte without feeling dry on the lips and although because of this they do trade off in the long wear department they still longer wearing than a traditional lipstick.
I want more shades in this line. ;)

ReplyDeleteIt a shade you just don't see very often in any formula as well. Light but not nude at all. 04 Coral Crush was my first shade from the line as well for that more unique bright shade.
