Product:
The Maybelline FaceStudio Master Contour Light to Medium the powder are all smooth texture and good pigmentation. The two matte powders 1 Contour and 2 Blush blend out nicely on the skin and had little kick up of powder with the use of a brush. The 3 Highlight powder as a fine pearl shimmer that doesn't look too shimmery on the skin.

The L'Oreal Infallible Pro Contour Palette in Light is a stiffer formula with some kick up of the powder from the pans. I feel like L'Oreal shot them self in the foot with trying to force their product into a split pan design to the detriment of the product itself because they have to be hard pressed into a single pan and it makes the matte shade more stiff to work with and less soft/buttery. The pearl highlighter is also more powdery in texture because of the pan pressing. Fortunately both shades do benefit from the Synthetic Fluorphlogopite used in the base formula as this powdery is incredible fine milled that it doesn't go patch on the skin at all.

Both product used the same base formula but the added Silica, powder in the Maybelline FaceStudio Master Contour Light to Medium makes it nicer to work with... I'm surprised that  L'Oreal didn't included it in there Infallible Pro Contour Palette.

This should not be happening after 3 uses..... >_<
Colour:
L'Oreal Infallible Pro Contour Palette in Light:
Contour is a cool taupe brown with a matte finish.
Highlight is a pale white gold with a pearl finish.

Maybelline FaceStudio Master Contour Light to Medium:
1 Contour is a warm rose tinted brown with a matte finish.
2 Blush is a cool light pink with a matte finish.
3 Highlight is a pale white beige with a pearl finish.

Wear: Both palettes did have a reasonable 10 hours wear for me before noticing any fading. But they can and do last longer over foundation and setting spray.

Packaging: Clear window compacts with no mirrors. The brushes as both synthetic and soft but rather useless for the shapes.

WINNER:
Between the two I feel like Maybelline FaceStudio Master Contour Light to Medium really nailed the texture of their powders.

But I still found that L'Oreal Infallible Pro Contour Palette in Light was workable if you looking for a true cool tone contour in the drugstore.

NOTE: I was thinking of getting the Rimmel Kate Blush Contour Highlight 002 CORAL GLOW Trio Palette as it was the coolest contour and lightest highlight of the 3 options. But the powders where all stains which is not a good texture for a contour. ;)
