Product:
The formula is what I call super matte but not drying. I can slightly tug on the lips, but it doesn't feel drying to me and feel somewhat cushioned on the lips as well. The finish does dry down to more of a matte finish through the day but for the first hour or so it has a very subtle dewiness to the lips.

I find that using any lip brush is my preferred method of applying this just because you need that clean line with deep reds.

Colour:

Love's First Kiss 1937 is a cool pink with a matte finish.

Red Velvet 1930 is a warm red with a matte finish.
Merlot 1963 is a is a cool deep red with a matte finish.

Wear: Close to 6 hours of wear before slight fading occurs.

Packaging: 
Gold round bullet tube with the Bésame flowers in red and is a touch shorter but 1cm than most lipstick bullets on the market giving it that vintage size feel. The closure also has a nice and tight snap.

The bullet is also cut into a V shape are the tip for a better application, or so they claim. ;)

The Love's First Kiss 1937 has an updated bullet art that used the Snow White flowers from the movie which I thought was a nice touch.

Verdict
So you may not need 4 shades of red, but Besame has a history of shades of red for every time period but every ever skin tone should also find a match in their range. I like to see more shades of pink in the future.
