Product: 
The formula for the shades in this kit is the new formula, they are on the thinner side but not too sheer. It only needed one coat to get full coverage on the lips.

The shades Breakfast at Tiffany's & Blue Velvet have the new scent of candied mint with vanilla that it is rather subtle. Queen Bee did smell like candies watermelon Jolly Ranchers but it is a subtle scent.

Colour:

Diva is a bright warm pink with gold micro-shimmer and a matte finish.
Redrum is a true red with a blue base with a matte finish.
Flamethrower is a hot orange with a matte finish.
Queen Bee is a true hot yellow with a matte finish. This formula is on the thicker side like Drug Lord but less thick compared to the original Queen Bee but still needs to be layered up to get full coverage.
Equality is a warm based green with a matte finish.
Breakfast at Tiffany's is a bright turquoise with a matte finish.
Blue Velvet is vibrant royal blue with a matte finish.
I'm Royalty is a rich purple with a matte finish.

Wear: For about 8-10 hours before needing a touch-up. They also wear down with dignity.

Packaging:
Clear tube with a small doe foot applicator, the doe foot is larger with a curved inwards shape to hug the lip comes to a rounded tip.
The mini version is just slightly smaller and less fluffy compared to the full-size applicator. The tubes of the mini are shorter by a little more than half, and the cap and tube topper is the same.

The box they come in is huge for the products in it and has a magnetic closure. I wish the foam tray that housed the lipsticks came out to make the box reusable, but it's glued in. The finish of the box is cool.... it a metallic silver foil with rubberised shades of red and pink printed over it.

With Queen Bee, the new formula is less dense compared to the original and take less time to dry down. both versions need to be layered to get an opaque look to them.

Equality is a little warmer compared to Mistletoe but they are practically the shade shades of green.

Verdict:
The new formula is still really lovely to work with given how pigmented most of the shades are in them. This is a set for those that want to mix colour or like offbeat shades in their makeup collection.
