The Almay Make Them Jelly Hi-Lite formula is a gel base that suspends the shimmer/glitter. it sticky... so sticky it does have a jelly texture in the jar that does jiggly like jello. to can tape it
The Almay Velvet Foil Cream Shadow in Astro Girl is a cream eyeshadow formula. It a has a soft texture that dried down and sets after 10 minutes, you do have some wiggle room when you apply this. This shade works best with a finger, but they can be applied with a brush. This shade can also cake up if you apply too much product on the eyes as the formula is buildable. I was trying to use more to the inner corner around the tear duct, and it does look thick and crackly these when I did do my first wear test with these.
Almay Make Them Jelly Hi-Lite in 24K Dreams and Velvet Foil Cream Shadow in Astro Girl have Calcium Aluminum Borosilicate in them, which give these products the high glitter shine I found that the shades which do have it the glitter faded over the course of the day faster than the base colour and the shimmer in the base colour still look the same. This is not to be unexpected without using s primer of glitter glue was it is a larger particle compared to traditional pigments.

The Almay Make Them Jelly Hi-Lite does last on the skin up to 8 hours.
The Almay Velvet Foil Cream Shadow wear for 12 hours before I notice any fading and was still going into the 16th hour for me. I did find my wear time speed up in terms of fading during one test when I rudding my one eye through the day those. ;) so don't do that.

Verdict:
I've jellies are VERY gimmicky in general they say it's for the face but this product I mostly sold as body glitter. lol It's sticky, and I don't like sticky in general without it drying down on the skin. It's a cool drugstore option of party/rave makeup as it has its place but if you're like me skip the sticky!!!
The Almay Velvet Foil Cream Shadow although initially reminded me of a MAC Paint, formula-wise I feel more like K-Beauty cream eyeshadow. I'm also glad it performs so well given these are some of the more problematic shades in the range from my research. The shade Astro Girl is a little on the chunkier side if you try to make it opaque as it has a clear base. But it's so lovely to get a full glitter shimmer shade as a wash on the skin, anywhere on the body.
