The Pink Dahlia matte shade 1 is a smooth powder formula that nicely buffed out or can be built up without going patch. The shade 2 shimmer formula is pigmented with a high frost sheen to the skin. The shimmer formula sort of reminds me of the rest of the Gellee powder that NARS, Estee Lauder and MAC put out in the past without it being too shimmery for a blush. ;)

Shade 1 is a warm pink with a matte finish.
Shade 2 is a warm, bright pink with a shimmer finish.

Wear: On the cheeks, it lasts 12 hours before noticing any fading for both shades, but the colour is still there after 16 hours.

NARS Torrid Blush is slightly pinker and has gold shimmer compared to the Cover FX Monochromatic Matte Shade 1.

Verdict:

This is a solid blush duo, so if your interest in the perfect shade for you in two finish this is a great product to check out. There is enough diversity in the colour range that most people will find the right shade for you. But I think Cover FX was trying for more natural shades for different peoples skin tones it lacks in more pope of colour in particularly the deeper end of options.
