Essense Vintage District Multi Colour Blush in 01 It's Popul-Art: Swatches & Review

Essense Vintage District Multi Colour Blush in 01 It's Popul-Art
Retails for $3.49CAN at Shoppers Drug Mart and is a part of the Essense Vintage District  collection. This was the only item in this collection I was interested in but they have a vivid dark turquoise Gel liner they are offering if your interested. ;) The full collection is not being sold in Canada for some reason as they're missing a few of the grey shades in the products they where offering. (apparently they think we are sick of grey up here. lol)

Overspray removed
Product & Colour:

This Multi Colour face powder is a strange one. Initially i was going to skip it but considering they've done two tone powders before and the gold looked like an overspray I thought I'd give it a shot.

The gold overspray is just that and come off super easily with just one touch. Unlike MAC's overspray on there products which lingers a bit, this one wipe off in one stroke or even touch with a finger.

The actually colour in the compact are soft milled like the Essence Cherry Blossom Girl Collection Blush. The shade are hard to capture on camera for some reason. In particular the darker shade is a warm berry colour but for some reason looks orange in swatches. I think the gold overspray is chaining the pink colour in the mix on camera. Out of the two base colour the light orange is sheer but the Berry shade makes up for it in pigmentation.

Wear: 8 Hour wear before noticeable fading one me.

Packaging: Simple compact with a clear lid.

Daylight swatches: Gold overspray, pale orange, berry red and mixed together lightly
Flash swatches: Gold overspray, pale orange, berry red and mixed together lightly

Verdict:
I like it, it works both as a blush of a night highlighter shade on deeper skin tone.
