Revlon Chroma Chameleon in Aquamarine: Swatches & Review

Revlon Chroma Chameleon in Aquamarine
A little late to the party as  the Fall Nail trend for 2012 has been and gone but Revlon has put out it's rather large set of duochrom nail polishes. Retails for 9.99CAN for 0.28 fl. oz. at Shoppers Drug Mart, I picked up this blue/purple shade as I don't have anything like it.

Product & Colour:
Aquamarine is a indigo blue with purple duochrom to it. Truthfully I can only see the purple unless you apply it to a black base first. The polish it's self is crazy sheer. Although each layer dries fast and relatively even it's annoying have to apply 4 layers to get true coverage of this shade.

Wear: About 5 days on my fingers on it's own.

Packaging: Simple small bottle with a ridiculously tiny brush.

Daylight swatches: 1 coat on black base, 4 coats, 3 coats, 2 coats, & 1 coat
Flash swatches: 1 coat on black base, 4 coats, 3 coats, 2 coats, & 1 coat

Daylight swatches (on angle you see more of the purple): 1 coat on black base, 4 coats, 3 coats, 2 coats, & 1 coat

VERDICT:
Glad on only bought one. This shade is super watery! I don't necessary mind sheer but I take 4 coats to get the colour opaque. I'm going to see if I can thicken it up by leaving the cap unscrewed to see if f some of the base clear polish will evaporate a bit.
