Product:
The Kat Von D Studded Kiss Lipstick formula is a denser cream finish that feels smooth on the lips. The denser silicone formula does skips sometimes on the lips but once it warms up it creamy without but movement throughout that day. Shades like Nobel and Coven both look and feel drier on the lips due to the chalkier nature of pastel shades.
The matte shade run from a true mate to a creamy matte finish that is fully pigmented.
The shimmer shades are a mix of pearl metallic to high shine shimmer. Some of the shades are semi-opaque like Poe that needs a lip liner to even them out to full coverage ones like Sexer that uses more of a pearl shimmer to create even coverage on the lips.
Colour:
Noble is a pale pink nude with a matte finish.
Magick is a dusty pink with a matte finish and some silver shimmer.
Lovecraft is a mauve pink with a matte finish.
Lolita is a deep dusty rose with a matte finish.
Halo is a bright orange with a metallic finish.
Sexer is a bright cool toned pink with a shimmer finish.
Bachelorette is a is a hot red pink with a matte finish.
Wolvesmouth is a rich berry with a shimmer finish.
Underage Red is a bright red with a matte finish.
Hexagram is a blood red with a matte finish.
Vampira is a burgundy with a matte finish.
Coven is a pale lavender with a matte finish.
Poe is a navy with silver shimmer.
Nayeon is a black with silver rainbow shimmer.
Wear: For about 6-7 hours before needing a touch-up.

Original formula
The Studded Kiss Lipstick version of Adora is slightly less metallic compared to the original version I have, but it's the same colour so I haven't bothered to replace it yet. I do find that the wear time is less with the original formula of 5-6 hours max before needing to touch it up again. The swatches are just to show where the shade falls in the colour spectrum and finish options.
Verdict
I do like this formula range, the only shade I dislike wearing is Noble on its own without a lip liner due to the drier and patch nature of the colour. But these shades do have a nice long wear time for me in some shades that are rare on the market and wear time as well. There are a lot of classic shades however that you might be able to dupe easily as well so for this mid-range price brand you might find yourself going for cheaper alternatives instead.
