Marcelle Lux Cream Eye Shadow + Liner: Swatches & Review

PURCHASED
Marcelle Lux Cream Eye Shadow + Liner in Sunstone
Part of their spring lunch Marcelle has adding a range to there parent brand line of jumbo shadow pencils. In fact the ingredient list is identical to the Annabelle line of Smoothie Eyeshadow Pencils as well as the amount of product per pencil.

Flash Swatches: Wisteria(UD Morphine but more opaque), Taupe de Jour (Reminds me of UD Rehab or Juju ), Enchantmint, Sea Breeze, Cloud-9, Vanilla Ice (MAC Lemon Chiffon shadestick), Sunstone (UD Lit), Ballerina (UD Sin)

Product: I testing the other shade in store as well and they were all consistently the same with a smooth application and coverage.

Colour: This line is tone down compared to their Annabelle line but still covers a rainbow of shades.

Wear: The one shade I bought lasted the whole day (16 hours) on the eyes.

Packaging: Like the Annabelle one the packaging is identical except the rubber/foam smudge tip. Then again ALL of these Shadow Pencils are made in Germany and probably by the same manufacturer for the different brands including Sephora, Estee Lauder and Urban Decay which I own 1 or 2 from each brand.

Compare: I'm not sure why they sell the Annabelle ones are $8.99 and Marcelle's is $14.99 in store but there still cheaper then Urban Decay ones at $24CAN. But the Marcelle line has half the amount the product at 0.05 OZ verse Urban Decay's 0.1 OZ . That being said all my UD liners came dried out in the box because a flaw with the lid not completely sealing no matter how tight I crank them on, compare to Sephora's 0.1 OZ waterproof pencils which are still perfectly fine 6 months later.

Verdict: Definitely a keeper!
Since these look to also be permanent I'll plan to wait for sales to roll in before buying a few more shades like Taupe de Jour, Sea Breeze, Cloud-9, and Vanilla Ice.
