MAC In Extra Dimension Eyeshadows in Opalesse, Triple Impact, & Zestful: Swatches & Review

PURCHASED
MAC In Extra Dimension Eyeshadows in Opalesse, Triple Impact, & Zestful
The MAC In Extra Dimension Eyeshadow retails for $21US and $25CAN. These tree shade happen to the iridecent colours meaning they have an aura to the mica pigments without base colour. The are great layering shades and there are a few on the market. Naked Cosmetic, TKB Trading, Pure Luxe Cosmetics (Aura Collection), and e.l.f. all have similar shades.

Product:
The Extra Dimension eyeshadow are identical to their Estee Lauder Cyber Metallic formula in terms of finish and wear. High shine but very dewy finish that gives dimension to the shape it's on. These ones are sheer with a high frost/aura finish.

A Natural Flirt from Glamour Daze had the red aura mica in it, giving the peach base a interesting duo chrome glow to it.

Colour:
Opalesse remind me of MAC Vex without the grey base. This one does have a white base that can read white gold in a certain light with a strong pink aura.

Triple Impact is mauve aura frost.

Zestful is a duo chrome green and gold mix aura.

Wear:
5 Hour wear before noticeable fading one me.

Packaging:
Simple compact with a clear lid.

Compare:
Like I mentioned above Naked Cosmetic (loose eyeshadow), TKB Trading (raw mica), Pure Luxe Cosmetics (loose eyeshadow), and e.l.f. (Studio Eye Transformer palette) l have similar products as the Aura mica's and pretty pure doesn't make them less gorgeous. The difference is when pressed in a pan the colour is more prominent verses the loose form of these micas.

They only one out of these brand I was a fan of was the elf one as the Eye Transformer was somewhat under pigmented.

Verdict:
I loved these micas over 5 years now when I was to them in a loose from. These work best over a deeper colour base or eyeshadow as you can tell my skin being this fair makes it hard to see on my skin. ;)

  1. awesome swatches! Didn't think I'd need triple Impact, maybe Fyrinnae has something similar as well?

  2. Awesome swatches! I figured something from Fyrinnae would be dupeable for the green, Jade Ghost/Electric Stardust perhaps? I'm digging Triple Impact, but I'm a sucker for blurple shades anyhow aha
