The NARSissist Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow Palette retailed for $79.00 and $92CAN for 8 X 0.03 oz/ 1g of eyeshadows product. This was a limited edition palette (That you can still get on NARS UK site.)

Now the reason I got this palette is because it contains 7 permanent shade from the NARS Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow range which retails for $29US and $36CAN with 0.05 oz of product each.

NARS Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow in Europa, Himalia, Ursa Major, Subra, Andromeda, Lysithea, Giove, & Sycorax

Product: 
This formula is not as buttery in texture compared to most shimmer eyeshadow but it is smooth to apply but they can be used either wet or dry which is a trade off. The texture of these shadows is a micro fine mica pigment for the shimmery/satin shades.

I find I like using these both wet and dry based on if I want the shade to be more of a wash on the lids  with them dry or as a more intense version of the shade wet.

Colour:

Europa is a pale pink peach with a satin finish.
Himalia is a is a de-saturated camel brown with a pearl finish.
Ursa Major is a warm brown with a satin finish.
Subra is a blackened plum with a pearl finish.
Andromeda is a pale pink ivory with a satin finish.
Lysithea is a true grey with pink shimmer and a pearl finish.
Giove is a deep rich navy with a pearl finish. This shade intensifies considerably wet.
Sycorax is a charcoal black with a pearl finish. This shade intensifies considerably wet.

Wear: Much like these rest of these hybrid eyeshadow powders, you will need a primer to make these last all day. On their own with my oily lids, I get 4-6 hours.

Packaging: The eyeshadows are housed in a plastic magnetic compact and has a mirror inside the lid, unlike the single shadows.

Compare:

The Estee Lauder Pure Color Gelée Eyeshadow formula was the first on the market for the manufacturer. Compared to the NARS Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow formula I found that the shades range from metallic to pearl finishes base on pigmented used. Texture wise these NARS on behaved very similarly, but I found these shade can sheerer when applied dry to bare skin.

Verdict:
I do like this formula if you interested in individual shades, but yes these shadows are very expensive considering you can get a version of it From Essence and Kiko from the drug store brands.

That said if you see a palette like this in the future from NARS this is a good deal for the number of shade you get.
