Urban Decay Lipstick ~ Matte Revolution in Bad Blood & Blackmail and Revolution in F-Bomb & Naked |
Urban Decay has gone on clearance of these lipstick formulas to launch their new VICE range of lipsticks at .11 oz of product for a potential price range of $19US. Fortunately, a number of the original shades are making it into the new VICE line including these 4. I picked these up at my local mall Sephora at $13CAN each which is close to drugstore priced.

Product:
Revolution Lipstick in Naked much like the shade Streak I reviewed 3 years ago is slightly sheer and buttery smooth to apply to the lips. This didn't settle into my lip lines. The shade F-Bomb I found was fuller coverage but had a similarly smooth application on the lips
The two matte shades I have in Bad Blood and Blackmail feels incredibly creamy while applying but stay put where you place them. The look matte without feeling matte on the lips. Blackmail I did fine did settle slightly into my lip line in the middle.
Colour:
Colour:
Blackmail is a deep plum red with a cream matte finish.
Bad Blood is a warm rich red with a cream matte finish.
F-Bomb is a hot red with a blue base with a cream finish.
Naked is a light warm pink with a semi-opaque cream finish.
Wear: Close to 5-6 hours wear for F-Bomb and Naked lipsticks. The Black Mails and Bad Blood shade lasted 7-8 without eating to disrupt it. Bad Blood, Blackmail, and F-Bomb all left a stain on my lips as well that fade after 4 hours.
Packaging: Basic twist-up bullet lipsticks.
I've been wanting to pick up a few more shades from Urban Decay range for awhile but neglected to after picking up the shade Streak. Fortunately, all 5 shades I have are permanent to the new VICE range coming in June as well so you can still get them in their new packaging and potentially upgraded formulas.
But because the red and plum shades are soo intense I recommend priming the lips with a lip liner to clean up the edges and act as a base. ;)
