Kat Von D Shade & Light Eye Contour Palette
Kat Von D Shade & Light Eye Contour Palette shades in Laetus, Lazarus, Ludwin, Samael, Solas, Lucius, Saleos, Shax, Liberatus, Succubus, Sytry, & Latinus.
Product: These matte shades still have the same buttery texture of previously Kat Von D palettes, they can be slightly powdery in nature as you pick up the product with the brush. This smooth texture lends itself nicely to the eyes and face for blending out.

If you happen to be fair like me, I love Lazarus as contour shade all over the face. It a much more cool tone taupe shade which reads for me as a natural shadow skin than any of the original Kat Von D Shade & Light Contour Palette because those contour shades warms on my skin, the shades end up read more orange. (Pale girl struggles!)

Also, none of the highlight shades in the original Shade & Light Contour Palette was light enough for me to actually works a highlight either. So the shades of Laetus, Lucius, and Liberatus can show up lighter on my skin tone (but with Laetus acting more like a yellow brightener).

Daylight swatches: Laetus, Lazarus, Ludwin, Samael, Solas, & Lucius.

Kat Von D Shade & Light Eye Contour Brush pointed pencil tip.
Kat Von D Shade & Light Eye Contour Brush dense small dome tip.
Product: The brush tips a nicely packed with synthetic filaments. The pointed tip comes to a nice sharp point the great for smudging and stiff enough to splay slightly with moderate pressure. The Dome end brush is a like a mini kabuki for blurring edges or stamp on colour.

Packaging: the brush is housed in a plastic coffin case to prevent the tips from getting blunted in storage.
Verdict:
This palette has a nice diversity of shades for a number of matte looks or to par with other shimmery shadows.
