The Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick formula is cream to matte one that dries down to a more matte finish as the day wears on. But I still found these very comfortable to wear if not slightly hydrating. Both of these shades are very pigmented and from the in-store selection I was able to swatch, the pigmentation seems across the board.
They also have a lemon-lime punch scent with a slightly sweet taste if you do lick your lips.
Colour:
Fig is a warm light rose pink with a cream finish.
Honeycomb is a cool tone beige nude with a cream finish.
Nori is a deep brown based red with a cream finish. This shade did settle into my lipliners because the shade is not 100% opaque compared to the other colour.
Gazpacho is a true red with a cream finish.
Gazpacho is a true red with a cream finish.
Pickled Ginger is a vibrant coral pink with a cream finish.
Cotton Candy is a is a hot blue based pink with a cream finish.
Souffle is a is a pale neutral with a cream finish. This shade did settle into my lipliners because the shade is a pastel shade and is harder to get even coverage.
I don't have the original Fig anymore but I remember is running a bit more duty compared to this new Fig.
But the Amuse Bouche Pepper is pinker tone and more opaque compared to the original Luminous Creme Pepper shade.
Packaging: Simple bullet packing with a rubberized grey body. The tube is super lightweight like there original lipstick packaging but they were able to also cut down the weight of the roll-up mechanism as well.
The tin for The Perfect Bite Set has a mirror in the lid and a solid plastic tray to hold the mini lipstick inside. The tray is larger than the lip if the tin which makes it almost impossible to pop the plastic tray out.
I did it with threading a stronger ribbon along the side of the tray and under it. Then place the tin in with the ribbon in a bottle of boiled water to expand the metal slightly. I used the ribbon on one end to pop it out of the tin and the rest of it came out with a little more elbow grease.
Using the tin as a bobbin tray/container for the sewing machine.

I was pleasantly surprised that I found all the shades except Souffle wearable on my fair skin tone. Honeycomb especially, as those sort of nude shade can make me look ill, but Honeycomb is deep enough and not complete;y skin tones enough to look like a dustier and less pink version of my natural lip colour.
Souffle I would consider a blending shade. This is a great pink to add a highlighter to your lip colour blended out in the centre or mixed with a deeper lipliner.
Fig is such a universal pink I feel like most people could wear it, out of all the shades I've tried and my first few shades I got.
