The Essence Metal Shock Lipstick retail for $5.99CAN each for a standard 0.12 oz / 3.5g at Shopper Drug Mart. I was surprised by the higher price point from Essence but it's only $2 more than most of the lipsticks.

Product:
The Essence Metal Shock Lipstick formula is cream in applying and less emollient compared to NYX Wicked Lippies formal. The Finnish of these is a more sublet pearl rather than a blinding metallic on the lips. I do recommend a matching lip liner/eyeliner in a match shades for the unnatural colours to even the edge out but I found all the shade except 08 toxicity is entirely opaque on the lips.

Colour:
02 guns 'n rose is warm bright pink with a pearl finish.
03 ace of hearts is a cool pink/red with a pearl finish.
06 stargazer is a dusty slate blue with a pearl finish.
07 venom is a dusty green with a pearl finish.
08 toxicity yellow gold in a sheer base is a with a pearl/shimmer finish.

Wear: For about 5-6 hours before needing a touch-up on their own.

Packaging: Is a basic black lipstick bullet tube.

Verdict

These are nice but not a metallic finish lipsticks, just more of a pearl finish lipstick that wears slightly longer than the NYX Wicked Lippie metallic lipstick shades.
