The Urban Decay Moondust Palette retails for $49US or $70CAN for 8 x 0.02 oz worth of product. It's currently on sale for  $49CAN right now, and I'm not sure why it's not on sale in the US. I wasn't going to spend $70 on a glitter palette even if I do own a number of Glitters from LIT Cosmetics, so I've been waiting for this sale on the item. lol

Products: 
The Urban Decay Moondust formula is a sheer colour based with mica glitter to create a high shine finish. I own two of the original Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadow in Zodiac & Stargazer and these shades are very similar are not more pigmented with the base colours compared to the originals. The formula is still drier than the standard eyeshadows and needs a little TLC with a primer to keep the shades on the lids with little fall out.

Colour:

Specter pale white gold base that is sheer with pale pink/orange shift shimmer.

Element is an orange/peach base with orange/red shift shimmer.

Magnetic is a red based purple with pink, blue, and purple shimmer.

Lightyear is a bright green with pale teal shift shimmer.

Granite is a charcoal black base with silver and pale gold shimmer.

Lithium is a warm light brown base with silver and pale gold shimmer.

Vega is a navy blue sheer base with bright blue shimmer.

Galaxy is a charcoal black base with silver/pale blue shimmer. 

Wear: I get a good 4+ hours with no base. Because of the large glitter particles, I do recommend a primer and/or a sticky base to make these last longer on the eyes.

Packaging: The lid has the full mirror and a sturdy hinge that holds it position so that you can use it as a table top mirror. It also not too heavy!

The outside packaging is black base plastic with silver glitter embedded into the plastic with a sub plate mirror the shows through the Moondust cut out. The box art is a silver glitter rainbow holographic film with the art printed over it a solid silver rainbow foil for the large text.

Verdict:
I do like this palette but the shimmers used some are the same between shades and what the difference between them is the base colour. These are more pigmented than the two I got which was meant to foil over other products will be a bonus of these shades. But you can get a similar look with buying just 2 of the original shadows as well.
