NARS Blush in Albatross: Swatches & Reviews

NARS Blush in Albatross

I admittedly have not been a fan of NARS Blushes in the past as I found the most hyped one to be rather lack lustre and under pigmented. Albatross on the other hand I was pinning to get. Retails for $32 Can and $28US.

NARS Blush in Albatross
Products & Colour:
Shimmery warm white gold glow. It's a rather nice lit from within type glow. The particles are not to terrible to accentuate pores on you face although if you have larger pore are scaring I would stay clear of this one.

Wear:
It honestly was still there after 12 hours the dewiness I was expecting from it although slightly faded after all the heat and humidify my face was producing.

Packaging:
matte rubbers finish and a nice hinge and clasp mechanism. I do love NARS's backing as a whole with their black compacts and mirrors.

Compare:
This shade remind of the Urban Decay Shadow in Vanilla from their 15th anniversary shadow palette.

theBalm Mary Lou-manizer also has a similar finish but It's finer milled compared to Albatross. Also Mary is a truer gold highlight then the white gold seen in Albatross.

Daylight swatch: NARS Blush in Albatross thickly then blended

Flash swatch: NARS Blush in Albatross thickly then blended

Verdict:
This shade of blush can really be used as an inner eye highlight shadow if you want as well making this a nice double duty product.
